Hi,

I did everything as explained but do not see the output of the custom-pager.tpl.php inside my theme folder, Just the one inside the module folder.
What could be the reason for this?

OK I don't have much time now but what I think is the problem - the first thing I'll work on when I get to it - is the database creation script, from part 1 will need to be modified in part 2 to reflect the tables used. These can be determined from the classes themselves. Really in any case the best thing to do is step through the execution line by line and see where it stops. Anyway I'll re-do some parts of this tutorial when I get some time. It's my first tutorial and I think it's too broad and needs to be simplified.

Hi Vicky, Unfortunately I am busy working on projects currently and don't have much time for blogging. I can't tell you much based on what you wrote. If you have some more specific information I might be able to help.

If you're feeling in the dark about how something works, I suggest following through the execution of the code one line at a time. One way to do that is to start at the beginning and move a die() statement with a message through the execution. Doing this will let you know that 1) it's getting to certain points and 2) to display the value of any current variables, etc.

Thanks for reading and good luck.
